SD 25 is a beautiful gerrymander that runs from  Inglewood and Compton down to the LA Harbor area and makes a wide turn to the west to take in the Palos Verdes Peninsula.  Registration is 59% Dem and 21% Rep.

There is A LOT of action on the Dem side since Sen ator Edward Vincent is termed out.  Kevin Biggers, Steve Bradfor, Mervyn Dymally, Jerome Horton, Carl Washington and Rod Wright are all competing on the Donkey side.

No names has surfaced on the GOP side until last week when 54th AD Central Committee member Lydia Gutierrez began circulating endorsment slips at the Long Beach Straw Poll event.

SD 25 is a suicide run, but at least we can get a Rep on the ballot.
