After much consideration of the remaining candidates, the exit of Fred Thompson (my first choice) as well as my loathing of McCain for his maverick tendencies and Huckabee's penchant for making Christians look like a bunch of radical cultists, I have come to the conclusion that Mitt Romney is the next best choice for the Republican Nomination for President.
I go into a little more detail about this choice and have a video interview with Mitt's nephew George Romney at my other blog here.

Thanks for your conclusion on Romney, but no thanks.
McCain's the man! There's nothing wrong with being a maverick. Sure is better than being a "reactionary", right? There are just too many reactionaries in the GOP. The Party is ossified.
