Hackers Leave Iranian Gov. Websites "Broken"
By Michael Kerr | 06/29/09 | 12:45 PM EDT | 1 Comment
Western 'hactivists" are successfully targeting government web pages in Iran. This is in response to the Iranian crack down on the flow of information through cyberspace.
The extent to which the hackers have been able to disrupt the government sites has not been determined. However, the Associated Press is reporting that they were unable to access state news sites and recieved a message indicating that the links to the sites were "broken."
Nice to see the internet leveling the playing field.

Seriously people, never get on 4chan's bad side. Iran is finding this out the hard way.
