This is a late add-on to McCain-Obama debate analysis, but it's worth noting that Obama wasn't truthful when he said he supports missile defense. It wasn't an outright lie, but it led viewers to think Obama favors missile defense to a far larger degree than he does.

Here's a clip from earlier in the campaign, when The One more freely displayed his leftist colors:




"Unproven missile defense technologies" is liberal code for cutting missile defense to the point where nothing ever gets deployed. Has it occurred to the Senator that all advanced military technologies are, at some point, unproven? Of course not, because when it comes to national security matter the man is weak and naive.

Obviously, that was red meat for his left-wing base, and I think Obama would defund missile defense if he could. The question, if he is elected, is whether his weakness will lead him to knuckle under to Russian belligerence and toss allies like Poland, who are risk Russian wrath by agreeing to particpate in our missile defense plans, under the bus.
