In today's Commentary section of the OCR, Steven Greenhut announced that he will depart soon for Sacramento to work on political news and investigative reporting.  He's going to work for a think tank called the Pacific Research Institute.  Greenhut will continue to write shorter columns for the OCR, and will focus on state issues.

I bet that Chip, David, and Matt might miss him!!!  I tended to agree with some of Steven's views on limited government, voluntary civic virtues, personal responsibility, and fiscal accountability.  However, I disagreed with many of his positions on national security.  For someone who loves liberty so much, one would hope he'd realize that the USA must maintain a robust national security apparatus to help preserve our liberties.
