The dems are drooling over the chance to get Dan Lungren. Their savior is Gary Davis - Davis is leaving the Elk Grove City Council to pursue his dream of becoming a Congressman.

Davis is a lifelong Democrat and a close associate of Darrell Steinberg.

My source who knows of Mr. Davis indicated that he is a soft-spoken man and is quite far-left.

It will be intereting to see what Davis claims about his record as he runs to be another vote for open borders, socialized industry and higher taxes.

There are two others in the Dem primary - which is a very good thing for Lungren.

Close political observers are watching this race and the Dems are pouring assets into it as the 5th, 10th and 15th AD all overlap with the 3rd Congressional.
