GA May Require English Only For Drivers Test

Now why is Georgia scheduled to be the only state in the union to require people taking the written test for a drivers license to have the test administered in English only? I don't know how many of y'all drive or maybe leave your house on occasion but can you recall seeing any highway signs that were bilingual? If the signs are in English only, unlike Canada where everything is in French and English. I can't believe this is just now coming to light but it sure would explain all those Hipanics with North Carolina drivers licenses we have around here. If somebody were to ever run an address check on those licenses they would probably find about 200 people all claiming the same address.
Congratulations to the Georgia legislature for even bringing the matter up since of course everything you do to, you know, try to uphold what makes this country good, we used to be great, is the fact that immigrants from all over the world come here and our language is what binds them together.
The Georgia Legislature appears on the verge of approving a measure that would require driver's license applicants to take the written exam in English, which could make Georgia the only state to have such a rule.
The measure passed the House Monday by a 104-58 vote. The proposal, which has already passed the Senate, would go to Gov. Sonny Perdue's desk if the chambers hash out minor differences in their versions of the bill.
I am sure the ususal suspects who love to play the race card and the various illegal immigrant supporters are already lining up ACLU lawyers to challenge this if it becomes law. Our states have got to stop being cowed by these type of lawsuits and start doing what is in the best interest of their citizens.
