No wonder it snowed in Baghdad last month.  A staunch fellow Republican and fellow Gold Star Wife let me know that she phone banked for John McCain AND Barack Obama this week. I did an informal survey of my friends and family via email - guess what??? Six other women, all politicos, said they did the same. Maybe all that whispering Obama talks about is happening more frequently than I thought.

One of the ladies summed up her reasoning like this: "My entire adult life either a Bush or a Clinton was on the ballot. I can't handle any more conservative hypocrites, and I can't handle another Clinton era. I want to like both candidates on the presidential ballot just once before I turn 40 - just once."

Alrighty then. Now I know what Obamacans are.
