The Establishment Helps Meg Whitman Flip Her Flops

I’ve got whiplash – as the Stories Mount, do we finally see leadership!

WOW! Those of us in the North state have to pinch ourselves. We have grown accustomed to seeing Republicans getting tarred and feathered in the Sacramento Bee.

Now, some in the GOP establishment – you know the folks that brought us Arnold are up in arms over a recent Sacramento Bee story about Meg Whitman and her many flip-flops over her voting record.

Isn’t that special?! Amazing as it seems, the Whitman camp might be high-fiving themselves right now (because the self-inflicted wounds have not killed the Whitman Campaign yet), but they still have colossal problems.

   1. Why didn’t the high-priced consultants fully vet her voting record and why did they have to scramble to get more data?
   2. Are they really proud that we now have Whitman on record saying her voting record is atrocious and groveling multiple times over it? Why did she go on camera?
   3. Why did Whitman lie twice – first saying she first registered in 1998 which is now proven impossible by both her own staff and the Sacramento Bee. Either she registered in 1984 or if she was referring to California then it was 1999. These inconsistencies are killing my neck. (I can envision Whitman doing a gymnastic routine at the 2012 Olymipics)
   4. What is undeniable are the max contributions to Maria Cantwell and Barbara Boxer
   5. Whitman called Barbara Boxer a "courageous leader" and claimed to be a "huge fan" of Van Jones. These are obvious signs of a lack of a Republican foundation.
   6. What is undeniable is a 12 year gap in voting and when she was registered a 33% hit ratio at best. In 2003, when the state was drowning in Red Ink and her good friends Arnold and Arianna were running for Governor, she was MIA. (Most likely playing tennis with Boxer on election day)

While some in the GOP establishment are self-congratulating over finally discovering the Bee… this blogger and friends have been nailing the Bee for years as being part of the fringe media.

When Sam Aanestad, Rick Keene, Ted Gaines, Dan Logue and Tom McClintock were getting beaten like rag dolls in the Bee, the Republican leadership was nowhere to be found.

The above are all irrefutable conservatives. Meg Whitman is not a conservative by any estimation – (see also Van Jones / Barbara Boxer).

And now we know why – the same people that brought us Arnold, Huffington, Wilson and Maldonado are now expending all of their political capital to prop up Meg.

Somewhere, Tom McClintock is feeling betrayed all over again.
