Christine Gregoire continues to campaign around the state making the claim that she inherited a $2.5 billion dollar deficit and has turned it around to a $800 million dollar surplus. I understand that she was on KQQQ just this morning telling the same nonsense. Who does she think she is kidding when there is so much information to the contrary? Gregoire must be gambling that we are such hicks in Eastern Washington that we won't be able to make the correlation between her mandated state hiring freeze and the upcoming $2.7 billion dollar deficit. She must also think we have the memory of a gnat.
