BIOGRAPHY

As an adult I have remained active in politics as both a paid staff member and Republican Party activist. I am a well educated political activist with a deep understanding of South Carolina’s political scene as well as national politics.

In 1995 I graduated from the University of South Carolina (BA Political Science/Minor History). In 2002 I graduated from the Carolina School of Broadcasting (Charlotte, N.C.) where I learned the technical aspects of radio and television production.  In 1995 I accepted my first full time staff position on a political campaign.  The campaign was the 1995 Dole/Kemp for President if the United States.  While with Dole/Kemp I served as first Office Manager and later traveled the country doing Advance for both Bob and Elizabeth Dole.

1997-1999: I served as Political Aid, to United States Congressman Charlie Norwood (Augusta, Georgia). This was a very rewarding position working for a man I had more respected more than words can express. In 2006 I accepted the position of Campaign Manager for kirkman Finley for City Council (Columbia, S.C.) Kirkman easily won after his opponent withdrew from the race.

In 2006 I accepted the position of Communications Director & Deputy Campaign Manager for Jim Feldcamp for U.S. Congress (Eugene, Oregon). Difficult people but the experience and people made very worthwhile.

ACALADES:

2008: Elected Delegate to the Republican National Convention (St Paul, Minnesota)

2009: VICE CHAIRMAN, Chester County Republican Party

         CHAIRMAN, Piedmont Young Republicans

Elected National Delegate to the Federation of Young Republicans National Convention
