The Bad News In Riverside County
By Dave Everett | 12/01/08
Congressman Calvert loses. Assemblyman Bill Emmerson loses. We lose Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia's seat to the Democrats and vote for the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate to be the next United States President. That is how Election Day 2008 would have turned out if it were up to Riverside County voters.Luckily, the first of those two facts didn't come to pass because Congressman Calvert has a portion of Orange County in his... read more »

The Good News In Riverside County
By Dave Everett | 11/06/08
Even though this was a tough election for us Republicans, there were some bright spots in Riverside County. HOWARD STERN: Will Never Vote For A Democrat Again
By Dave Everett | 08/05/08
I know this isn't Riverside County news, although I'm sure quite a few Sirius Satelitte Radio's have been sold in the area, but I could resist sharing it with our readers. Because all of the FCC Commisioners voting on the merger between the top two satelitte companies who voted "Yes" were Republican and all of the the commissioners who voted "no" were democrats, Howard Stern says he will never vote for a Democrat again. It is a great... read more »

Desert Sun's Liberal Bias Overwhelming On Sen. Battin Budget Position
By Dave Everett | 08/04/08
This is one of the most bias stories I have seen from the local media in a long time. The Desert Sun's Mariecar Mendoza totally misrepresents Sen. Jim Battin's position on the state budget and the so-called cuts that the school districts are facing. What is never mentioned is that these are cuts to scheduled increases. Realistically, the education budget will grow a little bit no matter which budget plan you look at. It... read more »
