Dennis Hollingsworth or Ray Haynes, Your Party Needs One of You !

Fellow Red County Contributor has clearly articulated the need for a GOP Primary challenge to Mary Bono-Mack.
His suggestions of former legislators Bonnie Garcia and Jim Battin make sense. Battin definitely would be a great candidate. I submit that Senator Dennis Hollingsworth and former legislator Ray Haynes be approached as well.
This Congressional District 45 is not just a Palm Springs district. It stretches down to Murrieta and Temecula through wonderful place like Hemet and Moreno Valley. Both Hollingsworth and Haynes do live in the Congressional District.
Hollingsworth is the current Republican leader in the state Senate and is termed out. I first met Dennis before his runs a public office at a protest over radical environmental policies. The only cap and tax he would understand is knee-capping the tax.
Ray Haynes is a former legislator worth over a decade representing parts of the district. He of course is in the private sector now.
One other point. Congresswoman Bono-Mack is wrong on the life issue, immigration etc... So the candidate that runs needs to be "right" on all those issues all well. I know something destroying the American economy by helping Barack Obama should be enough, but the rest doesn't hurt.
Hollingsworth, Haynes and Battin do meet that criteria. If they don't do I will pay Matt Cunningham's filing fees and we will be off to the races. Republicans can't let the Congresswomen go unchallenged.

|Totally agree with Nancy in the above post. Most of these individuals that we get elected in the Republican Party merely roll over and play dead once in office. They sit there in their easy chairs or fly off on "Fact Finding Missions". We lose them right after election. We don't need any more shrinking violets or pansies that wilt under the slighest hint of pressure. We're tired of it. AND, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT SAY THAT THE PARTY NEEDS ACKERMAN!!! He is the LASTperson on earth this party NEEDS. What the party needs to do, is REPLACE Ackerman fast.
