North County Times article (NCT) states that once again the Democratic Congressional Campaign will be targeting Congressman Brian Bilbray's seat in 2010 by running a "weeklong series of radio ads and telephone calls".   Citing his opposition to the ill-wrought Obama stimulus deal, they are running ads saying that Bilbray was on the wrong side of this issue.   Running two candidates against him, they are hoping to get a stronger one in than Busby who failed in her last attempts.  The Dems are still on fire in this area which is hard to believe.   

The ads and calls state the Democrat opinion that  "We are holding Representative Brian Bilbray accountable for just saying 'no' to President Obama’s recovery act that creates or saves 400,000 California jobs, cuts taxes for middle class families, and funds critical projects," said Democratic spokesman Andy Stone. "In these tough times, California's middle class families who are worried about their future want action in the form of more jobs and lower taxes, not Representative Bilbray's 'just say no' obstruction."

The Bush and Obama stimulus packages are a complete failure.  Sure there might be some small, short-lived blip in the economy as money printed with no gold standard floods the market and trickles down locally.  But just wait until all this money flows through, then it is time to pay the piper with high interest rates and inflation.   When that hits, the economic decline will be intense.  

I applaud Congressman Bilbray for standing firm and on principle by voting against his own party's president, George Bush and making the right decision against the sellout of our nation's future and our kids' heritage.  With Obama's spending spree and the States' money grab of cities, our capitalistic, free-market system is over as we knew it.

The Dems are just salivating at their chances of taking America as a full socialist state.  They are in their glory ignoring the Constitutional principles on which our nation was founded and implementing big government oppression by completely re-engineering our culture, history, economy and laws.    Enough is enough!

We need more Congressmen and Senators like Congressman Bilbray - who stand on principle and conviction against the pressure.   The Democrats may be running desperate, and by election time, the actual results of their stimulus may be more evident.
