Broward GOP Club Tea Bags Obama
By Javier Manjarres | 03/01/09 | 06:04 PM EDT | 0 Comments
This past Saturday, the SE Republican Club organized a 'Tea Party" to protest President Barack Hussein Obama's 'Porkulus' plan. The revolt is spreading throughout the United States. Many cities have now organized their own Tea Parties. The protest was organized by the Club President, Ed Napolitano. The rally took place on the corner of Oakland Park Blvd. and Federal Hwy. in Fort Lauderdale.
Dozens of people showed up to express their concern over the plan that was just passed into law by the U.S. Congress. The total count was roughly 60 people. Despite 2 or 3 hecklers, the response was overwhelmingly positive. I think a lot of the fools that drank the 'Kool-aid' last November are starting to realize the mistake they have made.
The attendees at the protest included many members of the Conservative Republican Alliance, as well as SE Republican Club members and Freerepublic.com readers. Aside from Ed Napolitano, there was an absence of leadership, as always, from the actual Republican Party. As many commented, this was no surprise to anyone.
President Napolitano has told me that he will continue to publically voice opposition to any and all of President Barack Hussein Obama's Socialist views and ideas.
