New boss: same as the old boss?

So Blago is out and we herald the reign of the mighty Quinn. Governor Quinn's actions thus far seem pretty respectable: he's made the Illinois Reform Commission a permanent fixture, reporting to his office, and he's suggested pushing forward the primary to September 2009, as this is a year of reform in Illinois, not a year of campaigning.
Before we get too excited, he's taken money from some questionable folks (someone named Rezko is on that list). Still, in fairness, he donated that money to charity. OK.
He might be OK on a few issues, but let's not think that we're able to relax. The state Democrats are eager to get a tax increase passed and it's going to take vigilance and a huge fight on our part to derail that. We also need to get our house in order and fast. The 2010 primary season will be upon us soon and we're going to have a tough opponent assuming Lisa Madigan makes it through the Democrat primary.
