My name is Al Bregar. Many people will know me as abregar from the Iowa Defense Alliance. I am a founding member of that group as well as the elected chairman. I live in rural South Central Iowa with my wife, two dogs, and two cats in the same town that my father grew up in. It is here that I learned about personal responsibility. I learned that if you screw up, take responsibility for it, people respect that. Of course I wouldn't expect our politicians to be well versed in personal responsibility, instead they seem to preach personal victimhood. I got involved in political activism because I got tired of sitting on the sidelines and let other people pick who is running for office.
I am just an average guy, with average needs, who is going to extraordinary lengths for the country that I love.
