That’s right folks, for only $35,800, you and that special someone can purchase VIP seating at Barack Obama’s 50th birthday bash! You can rub elbows with celebrities! Best of all? Dinner with Mishy and the Man!

You say $35,800′s a bit out of your price range, what, with the recession and all? Fifty bucks a head gets you a Happy Meal and a Barack Obama refrigerator magnet.

Either way, it looks like it’s going to be another one of those Obamapalooza events we’ve come to know and love.

There is a concert at 4 p.m. – at which Jennifer Hudson may perform. For all of you $50 cheapskates, organizers say there will be “limited availability.” Wow, class-privilege at an Obama birthday party, who would’ve ever thought that would happen?

For only $10,000, you get a “souvenir” photo with Obama at the reception and preferred seating at the concert. For $1,000, you get seating in the “premium section” with a “hosted bar.” Perhaps a photo with a life-size Obama cutout too? General admission is $200 – no cameras, please. Fifty bucks? Never mind – just be glad you were allowed to attend.

The extravaganza will benefit the Obama Victory Fund 2012, a joint Obama 2012 re-election campaign/Democratic National Committee fund. Should be quite the evening – except for the cheap seat folks.

No word yet on whether any other "royal couples" will be in attendance.
