Tour A Navy Ship
By Christian Milord | 07/31/09
In a post 9/11 world, it's much more difficult for civilians to get an opportunity to tour military installations, or see some of the impressive hardware used by the armed forces. However, this weekend (Aug. 1st and 2nd) one of these rare tours is available to the public at the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station. Budget Comedy Of Errors
By Christian Milord | 07/18/09
For several days now, Gov. Schwarzenegger and members of the Democrat led legislature have responded to media questions about the budget rollercoaster process. They make it appear as if they're burning the midnight oil to get a budget deal hammered out, and they try to make a simple process seem like rocket science. These politicians wouldn't have to scramble so hard if they'd keep a closer eye on finances during the year, and run... read more »
