The case for No on Prop 8

Of course, this blog has been full of the case for Prop 8. I'll just say that it is discrimination, no matter how you slice it. If you want to hear the other side calmly stated, read this.

Thanks for this. It took courage. Your description of 8 as discriminatory is the simplest and most compelling reason for voting against this dreadful proposition that I have seen.
I am not gay and don't know anyone whose marriage or marriage plans would be affected by this but this proposition is simply wrong.
