HEY, NO on 8 people! Don't you care about tradition?

I was watching an LA Times video about the stream of same sex couples getting married. Now, I know that they disagree with me on the definition of marriage that PREDATES law. I know they believe that man and woman aren't the ONLY best model for raising children. I know that they have a different honeymoon night than I had, for sure! But people please! In the video there are people attending your weddings who are WEARING WHITE!! They aren't getting married and they're wearing white? Have you no common decency? Have you no shame? Do you care about any tradition at all? Can't somebody tell these people that only the bride...s...wear white?
geesh. Sorry. I just needed to get that off my chest. And after labor day too! NO fashion sense at all.

When my wife and I were married, she DID NOT wear white. It was and remains a tradition we believe is not necessary. It is a choice. A choice that everyone should make on their own. Just like the choice to spend $30k plus on a wedding is a choice. From my wife and I's perspective, a completely ridiculous choice, but not one that I need to make for someone else.
Fear is indeed the mind killer.
er.......uh...I was joking....you know.....playing on the good fashion sense stereotype and the idea of "tradition" and...nevermind. I either did it poorly or you have no sense of humor. WHICH, btw, is definately a brainkiller.
Have a great election day anyway and thanks for playing!

Hi Inga,
If it means anything to you...I laughed through your entire entry. Marriage between a man/woman and wearing white for the bride only are traditions that my family and I are going to stick to!!! :-) Thank you for defending both.
Thanks for getting it.
Inga
Hey, Yes On 8 People! Don't you care about tradition?
Don't you remember that black people aren't allowed to marry? And how dare all you women think you are equal to your husbands, you forgot that you are property! haha. Geez, I miss tradition.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention that all these domestic violence issues being filed are ridiculous! Cmon now, don't you women remember that you're allowed to be beaten if you step out of line?
What a minute... who am I to talk about tradition? Oh yeah, I'm your history book. Nice to meet you. =)
(isn't sarcasm fun?)
