I find it rather hypocritical that had the same bald face lie been made by Danny Gilmore, every news outlet, radio and television news station would have decended upon this story and crucified Danny Gilmore just from preliminary fact checking during a slow news day! Here we have a Candidate, a City Council Member, the Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Shafter, a Commissioner on the California High Speed Rail Authority. She has received an endorsement and money from CCPOA. The next State Assemblymember from the 30th District will have to be able to reach across to the other side, to understand opposing points of view at least half way. How do walking into the Capitol with the baggage of CCPOA? Not everyone coming to Sacramento next year is going to be new, the other side, hell even other Democrats are fed up with CCPOA! This group did more to place a wedge between Democrats and Republicans that could have shortened the window it took to bring a budget to the table! If you have a problem telling everyone who endorses you, do not tell half lies, say one thing on television and another on your website, mean what you say Fran, don't say what you want others to believe?
