Boycott the Humanist Agenda

Posted by: Ken Mettler | 10/14/2008 9:27 AM

The humanist proponents use the boycott technique frequently to intimidate businesses and institutions to adopt homosexual, anti-America, and anti-family policies.  It works.

Conservatives need to use this political tool unabashedly to protect our families and country.  The Prop. 8 - Protect Traditional Marriage debate is a watershed issue and we need to have a long memory of who worked against marriage between one man and one woman, regardless of the outcome.

We can loudly call for local action that has national clout.  Examples are: PG&E, use alternate lower cost gas providers; CTA, join the California Teachers Empowerment Network (CTEN); AT&T, use other providers; Progressive Insurance, use others; and McDonalds, frequent other fast food.  Cancel subscriptions to newspapers that endorse an anti-traditional family agenda and utilize the on-line versions for free.

Conservatives can use this technique from the humanist playbook and take it to a much more effective, populist level.  Many low cost, grassroots efforts at the local level will add up to national clout.
