In unbelievable political theater, a prominent talk radio host in Kern County was "suspended indefinitely" after a witness reported him stealing local conservative Kern High School District Trustee Chad Vegas' 4x8 road signs. Scott Cox, of KERN 1410, was identified by a witness folding and "stomping" on one of the 15 signs that he stole in one evening. After a report was filed with the Kern County Sheriff's Department, Cox confessed and attempted to pass it off as a radio "hoax." Law enforcement and Trustee Vegas weren't laughing. Ultimately radio station management decided to suspend the host saying they cannot condone illegal activity by any employee. Read the story Here.
