LAUSD Opposes Traditional Marriage

The largest and perhaps the most dysfunctional school district in California voted to oppose traditional marriage. The liberals cry foul when school boards attempt to take a stand in favor of traditional marriage by stating that educators should be focused on academic achievement solely.
Did I miss something?.....No liberal uproar over the action by LAUSD.
Maybe the test scores for LAUSD would rise if more of their students were raised in a family held together by a traditional marriage of one man and one woman, as designed by our creator......a setting that has been proven as the ideal for thousands of years.
Vote Yes on Prop 8.

I fail to see what is "ideal" about thousands of years of persecution and punishment of people who are simply attracted to a member of the same sex.
My gay neighbors are among the most decent, upstanding, solid people I know. That's more than can be said about those who would continue to advocate for less than full civil rights for EVERY American citizen.
