I agree! I heard from several folks that were told by the fundraiser for Speaker Bass that she was always going to be going to the convention and have her fundraiser (Tue) regardless any resolution of the budget. Notice how Karen Bass stated if the budget wasn't passed, she would not go to the convention for 7 days. Duh? Not many folks will be there 7 days. How about setting an example as the Dem House Leader by saying no budget, no convention. If one believes Ms Graves, her fundraser, one must assume our state comes second to raising that money.... Just an average Jo here, but we need a budget NOW and leadership that cares!
