PG&E Against Traditional Marriage

Posted by: Ken Mettler | 07/29/2008 3:12 PM

Wonder why your electric bill is so high?

PG&E just donated $250,000 against traditional marriage.

At a press conference in San Francisco, PG&E announced it will donate $250,000 to the anti-Prop 8 campaign.  It was announced that PG&E "..will become a founding member of the Equality Business Advisory Council...", a homosexual advocacy group.

PG&E customers should be outraged that a monopoly utility company is publicly attacking traditional marriage and our families through their political donations.

Citizens are encouraged to call this utility company and express their outrage 1.800.743.5000 or customer relations 415.973.8295

Wrong! Being outraged does nothing. We must hit PG & E where it hurts : in the proverbial pocketbook. I urge everyone to boycott PG&E by turning off all your electricity from now until the November election. That will show the PG & E the true power of the California voters!

Cabana Republicana typically only comments in support of Gay Rights, Ken. He was a hard-core Doug Ose supporter over on the Placer Blog.

I have never supported "gay" rights.

I have consistently supported the equal protections clause of the Constitution to all Californians regardless of any qualifiers.

Doug Ose is an honorable Republican; it is no disgrace to supported a dedicated public servant.

2 Chronicles 7:13-15
13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.

Luke 20:17-19

17 Then He looked at them and said, “What then is this that is written:

‘ The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone’?[a]

18 Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”

This post would be better if it presented some argument or evidence instead of just asserting that opposing Prop 8 is to be "against traditional marriage." What is it about gay marriage that would cause any traditional marriage to fail? How does it affect traditional marriage at all?
