I saw this piece recently in the Life/Pets Section of the OCR, and it looks like a worthy cause.  A non-profit group called Canine Support Teams is sponsoring a golf event in Temecula on Friday.  The benefit will provide wounded veterans with assistance from service dogs.

The "Pawz for Wounded Veterans" starts at 7:30 a.m. for anyone interested in supporting injured military veterans from current and prior conflicts.  There will be awards, contests, lunch, and so on.  There is an entry fee of $140 to participate at the Cross Creek Golf Course.
