Budget Deficit Disorder (BDD) … Finally, An Accurate Diagnosis for Our Sitting Government

Once again, Jon Russell, Republican Candidate for U.S. Congress in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District, has hit the nail on the head. He’s provided one answer for several related questions that most Americans seem to be asking. According to a Fox News Opinion Dynamics Poll, conducted at the end of September, the top issues Americans are worried about are:

1.      The federal government spending too much = 79%

2.      The increasing size of the federal deficit = 77%

The only issue that’s on a par with this, in terms of causing Americans to worry, is Iran developing a nuclear weapons program. With this in mind, I have to imagine that most Americans have the same questions on this as I do:

How in the world could those who are supposed to represent us have allowed themselves to spend such a phenomenal amount in less than one year?!

AND

Why have they continued to do this and make plans to spend even more, against our clearly communicated wishes that we want them to stop?!

Congressional Candidate Russell has provided one answer for both questions:

It’s BDD … BUDGET DEFICIT DISORDER!

Be sure to check out Russell’s current YouTube Video on this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7MTJWK5Xvk

More than just an answer, it’s a diagnosis of a classic addiction of Career Politicians.

Good old FOX "news"   It's

Good old FOX "news"

It's interesting that they found those to be the issues of highest importance to Americans, especially since all other major polls asking the same question find nothing close to similar. In fact, I can't actually find the Fox "news" report you are quoting, would you mind providing it?

Below is a link to what actual news organizations have found Americans' top priorities to be

In goose-step with Obama

If I was goose-stepping with Obama, like you, I guess I'd want to remain Anonymous too. Apparently the Obama tactic of "If you repeat a lie often enough, it will start to sound like the truth" ... to some, has put you in the category of "some", who have swallowed this tactical deception whole. More Americans depend on FNC for "actual news" than from any other broadcast source. Much to the dismay of the Obama administration, whose philosophy is "We (will think for) the People", FNC is just what they say they are ... Fair, Balanced & Unafraid. No doubt its that last part that the Obamazis can't stand.

Hmm... interesting how you

Hmm... interesting how you decide to attack me rather than try to refute the point I made.

I will ask again, can you please provide the source for the Fox survey you were citing (backing up the "more Americans get news from Fox claim would also be nice). In addition, isn't it strange that only Fox came up with those issues, while every other tracking organization shows nothing close to that, I mean you can't really believe Fox isn't anything more than a conservative mouthpiece can you?

The bad thing now for Jon is

The bad thing now for Jon is that with the revelation of mayor Sellers possible improprieties with Washougal’s taxes, Jon, sitting on the finance committee that is tasked with approving city employees' and officials' receipts and spending and he claims no knowledge of any of this, admitting he never saw the Las Vegas expenditures that has the mayor in hot water.

The excuse of the mayor prevented them from talking to department heads and everything had to go through her makes matters worse.

If he could not stand up to and confront a small town mayor, how would he ever stand up to the likes of Nancy Pelosi?

Jon's a good guy and I think he has a future in public service, but his handling of this matter shows a lack of experience and some immaturity as well.
