A friend of mine was speaking to me tonight when he broke the news to me that Assemblyman Juan Arambula has left the Democratic Party and re-registered as a Decline-to-State voter. This is bad news for Democrats who have now temporarily lost 2 seats in the Assembly over the past month, as Democrat Curren Price left a vacant seat behind when he moved on to the Senate (Price's seat won't be filled until at least September). This willl be interesting as the budget is going to come up for a vote on Wednesday. We will all have to wait and see how this all plays out.
