Not only is Ken Campbell taking on Ted Gaines, but Mark Williams has called him "John Doolittle Jr." Williams has lumped Ted Gaines, John Doolittle and myself into the group of RINO's that have sold the GOP out. I guess by default, Kerry-Egland is the only 'pure' candidate for office in the 4th. Last night when I went to the radio station to pick my wife up (she works for one of Hogue's sister stations) I talked to Eric about the news of the day. As recently as late 2006, Williams was a DTS voter in Placer County. He left the Republican party over the actions of the Governor (he said). If Williams is registered as a Republican, it is almost as recent as the re-registration of Eric Kerry-Egland.
