On March 11, 2009, I reported here on RedCounty "Rowland USD assult on Democracy" on a sham put together by a hired consultants and the Rowland Unified School District to put forth a parcel tax via mail-in-vote.

The 60th Assembly District Republican Central Committee took a position in opposition to the Rowland USD Parcel Tax proposal.

The taxpayers within the Rowland Unified School District was saved tonight.

The election results according to the Los Angeles County Registrar's office shows that the measure has failed 2/3rds necessary for approval:

E - EDUCATION PARCEL TAX       - YES                    4,193    51.57 %
          (2/3 OF VOTES CAST)        -  NO                      3,938    48.43 %
