AD72 - Thoughts from a NorCal Observer (McClintock's Endorsement of Chris Norby)

I have watched the blog wars - dirty media stories and lots of commentary about I.E.'s

This race reminds me of Doug Ose Vs. Tom McClintock up in my neck of the woods. McClintock won 54-39 despite $7.9 million spent by Ose.

Like Ackermen, Ose had the ensconsed establishment almost 100% behind him. And, like Ackerman, Ose had the "business interests" dumping wads into an I.E.

And, like Norby - when McClintock accepted a pittance from "Special Interests" he was railed on as a hypocrite - while one of Ose's closest allies had been on the payroll of the Thunder Valley Rancheria for years.

History is repeating itself - there are several from Ose's endorsement list "Republican Local Officeholders" we call them that have not gotten over the fact that McClintock won. In fact, don't be surpised if one of them runs against McClintock for re-election.

While some supporting Norby are stone nuts (we know who they are) - the Greenhut article even has parallels up here in NorCal. Similar to Greenhut, a member of the Auburn City Council was about the only local elected not to endorse Ose (there were over 100 that did) and he was assailed by the establishment for acting out of his own self interest for a future campaign when he wrote about it.

Not Bad. Not bad at all - I remember Dick Ackerman being a lapdog for Arnold. I also remember Dick Ackerman being in the middle of the moderate takeover of the CRP, participating in the election of officers loyal to team Arnold.

Toss the mailers aside and ask yourself a question - McClintock has endorsed Norby, who is the anti-establishment guy. In a season where the patient is puking out the establishment - look at all the money going into Linda Ackerman and ask whose representative will she be?

You see, up here - McClintock endorsed Rick Keene for State Senate over Doug LaMalfa. Look at LaMalfa's scorecard and he is a clone of Mike Spanky Duvall. Look close at LaMalfa and you will see "establishment" endorsements of very bad candidates and officeholders (not the least was Ose).

It's like living in a parallel universe. Go Norby.

P.S. The Orange Joke blog is like a broken clock. Even that clock is right twice a day - don't let supporting Norby go to your heads, guys... you'll be wrong another 150 times before you get something else right again...

Conservatives are on the move

York is right on the money about Norby.  Conservatives across the nation are revolting against the sell out RINO "leadership" offered by the likes of the Ackermans.  Conservative Doug Hoffman has moved into the lead in two polls in the New York Congressional special election.  And EVERY POLL in Orange County shows Conservative Chris Norby crushing RINO Ackerman.  Republican voters are reclaiming our party from the political insiders who drove us into temporary minority status.
