This Press Release just came in from Linda Ackerman for State Assembly:
FULLERTON— Independent businesswoman and Metropolitan Water Board Director Linda Ackerman has announced the endorsement of former Placentia Mayor Scott Brady as well as Councilmember Jeremy Yamaguchi in her campaign for the 72nd Assembly District.
"Linda Ackerman is the leader that North Orange County residents need to create jobs in California and help solve Sacramento's budget crisis,” said Councilmember Jeremy Yamaguchi. “As a businesswoman, she is the best candidate to eliminate the waste, fraud and abuse of state government that Californians have become accustomed to".
As a Director on the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, Linda Ackerman has been a leader on water issues for one of the largest and most complex water districts in the nation. A successful businesswoman, Linda also sits on the board of USCB Inc., a successful receivable and management company.
