La Habra City Leaders Endorse Linda Ackerman
FULLERTON- Independent businesswoman and Metropolitan Water Board Director Linda Ackerman has announced the endorsements of numerous leaders from the City of La Habra. They are:
La Habra Mayor Tom Beamish
La Habra Councilmember James Gomez
La Habra Councilmember Steve Simonian
La Habra Councilmember Tim Shaw
Former La Habra Mayor Juan Garcia
Former La Habra City Councilmember John Holmberg
"The taxpayers of La Habra have a friend in Linda Ackerman," said Mayor Tom Beamish. "She is an experienced businesswoman and a fiscal hawk who will crack down on rampant spending in Sacramento".
Citing Ackerman's experience on one of the largest water districts in the nation, Councilmember Tim Shaw said, "With California facing a critical water crisis, we need someone in the legislature with a background in water issues. With Linda's experience on the Metropolitan Water District board, she is the best choice to represent us in the Assembly."
As a Director on the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, Linda Ackerman has been a leader on water issues for North Orange County. A successful businesswoman, Linda also sits on the board of USCB Inc., a successful receivable and management company.
