I have in my hot little hands a flier that the Ackerman campaign has mailed out to Democrat households.  Most likey these are high propensity Dems that received this.  I don't have a good copy to scan, so here are a few highlights.  The front of the flier says...

" Attention Democrats....In a historically Republican held district, you have a special opportunity to help elect our next Assembly member.  The election is held in an open primary format, which allows you to vote for any of the candidates on the ballot.

Then we have a few quotes...

Linda is the type of leader who listens to a broad range of views and works to build consensus.

Linda Ackerman is not defined by being a Republican.  I trust her to be an effective advocate for North Orange County in the State Assembly.

LOL.  I think this one is code to her Dem supporters that she will toss her Republican principles aside when need be to suite her needs.

This last quote on the flier is a beauty...

Open to new ideas, Linda won't toe the party line, but she'll do what's right for our community and our state.

Open to new ideas.  Just let the imagination run on that one for a bit.  I wonder if these "new ideas" include tax increases.
