Orange County Taxpayers Association PAC Endorses Jerry Amante in AD 70

TUSTIN, CA -- The Orange County Taxpayers Association PAC has endorsed Republican Jerry Amante in the 70th district primary election.

"OCTax PAC has observed Jerry Amante's wide-ranging leadership on the Tustin City Council, Orange County Transportation Authority and Transportation Corridor Agencies," said OCTAX President Reed Royalty. "We are convinced that Jerry shares our goals of lower taxes and limited, more effective government."

Jerry Amante is the Mayor Pro-Tem of Tustin and the leading candidate to replace current Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, who is termed out.

"OCTax PAC is convinced that Jerry is qualified and motivated to help keep State spending in check, which is especially important in this era of seemingly unrestrained government largesse," concluded Royalty.

A successful small business owner, Realtor and practicing business attorney, Jerry also finds time to volunteer and/or support many civic and community groups, including the Irvine Chamber of Commerce, the Tustin Boys and Girls Club, the American Legion, the local senior center, and the Orange County Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. He is a Deputy Chair for the Orange County Republican Party, and a member of the California Republican Assembly (CRA).

Nice

OC Taxpayers Assc. or Tax OC as they are known now, supported the recent Prop 1A massive tax increase.  Nice endorsement Jerry.  I guess we know whose side you'll come down on when push comes to shove.
