OC Supervisor John Moorlach Supports Allan Mansoor For Assembly

Costa Mesa, California - Orange County Supervisor John Moorlach (D2) today announced support of Costa Mesa Mayor Allan Mansoor in his bid for the Republican nomination for the 68th Assembly District.

"In tough economic times, it is important to have leaders like Allan who have experience navigating through the difficult decisions required of an elected official," said Moorlach. "As a mayor that has balanced several budgets and understands the importance of fiscal responsibility, Allan has a proven track record of demonstrated fiscal acumen.  That's why we need him in Sacramento."

"I am honored to be endorsed by John, he has always fought for fiscal discipline and economic growth," said Mansoor.   "I look forward to working with John to revitalize our district."

John Moorlach joined the Orange County Board of Supervisors and the Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors in December 2006. Moorlach has the distinction of having predicted the largest municipal bond portfolio loss and bankruptcy in U.S. history

Allan Mansoor is an Orange County Deputy Sheriff and mayor of Costa Mesa.  He is a Republican candidate for the 68th Assembly District, currently represented by Van Tran, who will not seek re-election due to term limits.

Manoor and Norby in the Assembly

I just want to simply say what a fantastic addition it will be to have Allan and Norby in the  State Assembly together.  I don't know why this gives me such hope for our beloved state, but it does.

Good luck Allan!!
